Cooking Day! - Naan, Palak Paneer, and Shahi Paneer

My friends and I tried to make Indian dishes! This wouldn't have been a feat I could accomplish myself so I'm glad we had an expert in the group. We absolutely did not plan before this cooking day so all the groceries the day of and I kept notes on the different type of spices we were using.

Unfortunately for me, A is so used to making these foods she did not follow a recipe and I was running back and forth from the kitchen and table to write down what we were doing. Looking at my messy notes now, it does not seem like they are going to be helpful for the future, hahaha.

Nevertheless, the food we made was delicious! So glad I got to learn about new (to me) foods.

  4. I love good paneer but have been too scared to try and make any dishes with it or indian food beyond a more simplistic curry. I got some recipe books from the library the other week though so you might have inspired me to give it a go! lovely photos xox

The name "sojoo" roots from "this is so Joany". Somehow in my convoluted thoughts, the name makes sense. On this blog you will find a collection of photos from my every day life. Hope you enjoy and stay for a little while.
