A bit of Vancouver

Here is a bit of Vancouver - The previous host city to the Winter Olympics! Wooosh. Has it already been 4 years? 4 years ago I was in my first year of university and we got a break to enjoy the Olympics. Instead of staying in Vancouver I went to Hong Kong to celebrate Chinese New Year with my grandma and flew back just in time for the last part of the Olympics and watched the Gold Medal Hockey Game at home. What a rush! I visited Downtown this weekend to relive some of that the Olympic spirit. Not sure if it was the freezing temperatures or people were elsewhere for the Family Day long weekend, but it was pretty quiet outside of Canada Place. The Olympic Cauldron remains and although it was not lit, this location was the absolute place to be back in 2010. I also had my first Five Guys burger yesterday. It was awesome.

  2. Your photography is stunning! I love the air vents (???) in the fountain, the lighting is very pretty. I am also drooling over that burger and.. is that sweet potato chips?! I am going to Vancouver!

    1. Hi Emma :) Thank you!
If you are referring to the 3rd photo, that is a picture of some art work/lights being displayed at a train station. I bought just regular fries at Five Guys but next time I will try the cajun fries! See you in Vancouver hahaha :P

  5. Haha sorry for the mass posting of comments. Must admit that it is good to see photos of my home town. Just before moving, I lived literally a minute's walk from the Five Guys downtown.

    1. It's fine by me :) Wow, if I lived next to Five Guys I don't know what I would do. But I guess since you lived in downtown you probably had lots of choice. I would love to see how you captured Vancouver when you lived here though. Your photography is great!
